Plain White T’s recently performed their hit song “Hey There Delilah” aboard a Southwest Airlines flight as part of the airline’s Live at 35 program.
The initiative invites musicians to perform for passengers while cruising at 35,000 feet.
The appearance marked the second time the Plain White T’s have taken part in the program. The band was also among the first artists to perform during Live at 35 when it originally launched 15 years ago.
“We’ve played a lot of venues over time, and I speak for all of us when I say there is nothing like hearing a plane full of people singing along with your music at 35,000 feet,” frontman Tom Higgenson said in a statement.
Higgenson added that the group enjoyed returning to perform for Southwest after first participating more than a decade ago.
The Plain White T’s are currently on tour across the U.S. alongside Yellowcard.
