Southern California’s beach festival scene is getting a major upgrade this fall. Goldenvoice—the powerhouse promotion team behind Coachella and Stagecoach—has officially announced the inaugural Ocean Way Festival, taking over the sands of Santa Monica on September 26-27.
The new two-day, multi-genre event features a stacked list of headliners, led by rock titans The Killers and Jack White, alongside rising UK neo-soul star Olivia Dean and Southern California icons Sublime.
Santa Monica Mayor Caroline Torosis voiced the city’s excitement for the beachfront debut, stating, “Santa Monica is in the middle of a renaissance. The city is welcoming the world to its shores, and Ocean Way Festival is how we’re making sure our own community is at the center of it.”
The festival aims to fuse rock, indie, and electronic music with localized food, wellness programming, and classic California beach culture. Residents will get the first crack at passes with an exclusive local presale starting Monday, July 22 at 11 a.m. PT. General public ticket sales open the following day on Tuesday, July 23 at 11 a.m. PT.
